What is micro-suction?

The gentle, safe modern technique used for clearing ear canals using a surgical microscope to gain a safe magnified view.

Suction: a tiny 'vacuum cleaner' used to clear wax and debris from the ear canal.

Will it hurt?

No. A surgical microscope gives a magnified view  of the ear canal and ear drum 

this allows wax/debris to be removed safely and gently with tiny instruments and/or suction.  We explain all steps as we go and you can say ‘stop’ at any time.
