                                                                                                                                                        We are taking extra precautions to keep our staff and clients safe, this includes:

 

  • Our staff are fully vaccinated.

  • Before booking an appointment you will be screened over the phone to ensure you are well - we will not be able to book you in if you are having any symptoms that may be related to COVID 19 – please see below

  • New or worsening respiratory symptoms including one of the following:                       *new or worsening cough,                                                                                                     *sneezing and runny nose,                                                                                                      *sore throat,                                                                                                                              *fever,                                                                                                                                         *temporary loss of smell or altered sense of taste,                                                              *shortness of breath?                  

  • Required to be in self isolation                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

  • Wear a mask – as we are a healthcare facility this is mandatory.  This is also important as we are unable to maintain the recommended social distancing when providing our services to you. Spare masks will also be available. If you are unable to wear a mask (please note: we will request to sight an exemption card) we are still able to see you however please advise this at the time of your booking so our staff can cater for your visit

  • Due to social distancing requirements we are limiting the amount of people on site and for that reason we ask that your arrive by yourself for your appointment unless you accompany a child or dependent person then we will allow one support person.

  • We ask that you use the provided hand sanitizer on arrival and when leaving the premises.

  • There are no Walk in presentations - please call for an appointment.

  • We are regularly wiping down all shared hard surfaces.

  • We keep up to date contact details for each person seen in our clinic in case contact tracing is required.

  • Our ear nurse will be wearing appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) to protect themselves and our clients.

We also accept Self Referrals.

Full funding is available to assist clients who have hearing aids provided by ACC or Veterans Affairs.
