Level 2 Guidelines

We are taking extra precautions to keep our staff and clients safe:


  • Our staff are fully vaccinated.

  • Before booking an appointment you will be screened over the phone to ensure you are well - we will not be able to book you in if you are having any symptoms that may be related to COVID 19 – please see below

  • New or worsening respiratory symptoms including one of the following:

  • new or worsening cough,                                                                              sneezing and runny nose,                                                                               sore throat,                                                                                                    fever,                                                                                                                       temporary loss of smell or altered sense of taste,                             shortness of breath                                                                                                Any of the less common symptoms, such as:                                   headache, muscle aches,                                                                     diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting,   malaise,                                                               chest pain, abdominal pain, joint pain pain                              confusion/irritability - where there is no other likely diagnosis?

  • Our QR code is displayed - , it is a requirement to scan in on arrival. There is alternate sign in options available for those who do not have the COVID-19 App

  • Wear a mask – for anyone 12yrs and over this is now mandatory. Spare masks will also be available. If you are unable to wear a mask AND have an Exemption Card (please note: we MUST be able to cite this) we are still able to see you however please advise this at the time of your booking so our staff can cater for your visit

  • Due to social distancing requirements we are limiting the amount of people on site and for that reason we ask that your arrive by yourself for your appointment unless you accompany a child or dependent person then we will allow one support person.

  • Anyone 12 years and over; has received their second COVID-19 vaccination and are able to provide proof for us to cite on entry

  • We ask that you use the provided hand sanitizer on arrival and when leaving the premises.

  • Walk in presentations are discouraged - please call to speak to one of our staff BEFORE entering our premises.

  • We are regularly wiping down all shared hard surfaces.

  • We keep up to date contact details for each person seen in our clinic in case contact tracing is required.

  • Our ear nurse will be wearing appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) to protect themselves and our clients.

Referrals are accepted from General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Audiologists, & Hearing Therapists.

We also accept Self Referrals.

Full funding is available to assist clients who have hearing aids provided by ACC or Veterans Affairs.
